Robert Huseman has more than 30 years of experience in Texas’ criminal justice system. As a former homicide detective with the Houston Police Department, Robert investigated dozens of murders and capital murder cases. After graduating from law school, Robert became a prosecutor with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. Over the next 20 years, Robert served as a criminal prosecutor in numerous courts and units, including juvenile, gang/homicide, and law enforcement investigations.
He rose through the ranks to become Deputy Chief over the Criminal Division, where he supervised the gang/homicide, narcotics, and grand jury units. During his over 30-year career in law enforcement, Robert gained valuable knowledge and experience that he now uses to vigorously defend his clients. Over the past two decades, Robert has handled thousands of cases, ranging from misdemeanors to murders – and everything in between.
Robert now uses his police and prosecutorial background on the other side of the docket. His first-hand knowledge of police training, procedures, and investigations help identify issues that work to his clients’ advantage.
